    Description

    Up for auction is a vintage bill of lading for cargo being shipped aboard the Brigatine "Tace", which was in the Port of New York and to be bound for Madeira.  Goods being shipped included 150 barrels of flour and 1,325 bushels of Indian corn.  Document is dated 1800 and was hand stamped with a Four Cents New York Revenue stamp.  Paper has edge damage and foldline staining..
