    Description

    Up for auction is a vintage Large document that has to do with the cargo the ship "Caledonia" carried from Philadelphia to the Port of Canton, China.  Names seen on the 1816 dated document include John Robbarts, Benjamin Wilcocks (Consul for the United States at the Port of Canton). There is William Smith and Richard Wells (merchants of Philadelphia).  Fully opened, paper measures about 19 3/8 x 16 inches.  Has an easily read seal of "U.S. Consul Canton China" wax seal.  Paper has edge damage and staining issues.....
