    Up for auction is a vintage folded stampless letter and cover combination that was written at and mailed from Hartford, Connecticut and addressed to John Fitch, Mansfield, CT.  Letter is dated October 6, 1837.  Letter is of a personal and what's going on around here nature, written by Julia A. Adie, a niece of the addressee.  paper has multiple foldline tears and cuts. Second lettersheet has a nasty top to bottom sort of diagonal tear, but only affects the appearance of the lettersheet Paper has multiple staining issues...
