    Up for auction is a vintage folded stampless letter and cover combination that was written at and mailed from Bedford, Pennsylvania and addressed to Major G. M. Barclay, Senate, Harrisburg, PA.  Letter is dated May 12, 1839, is of a business nature, written by Henry Woods.  paper has multiple foldline tears, staining issues and edge damage.  BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF TEARS, PAPER SHOULD BE HANDLED VERY CAREFULLY TO PREVENT FURTHER DAMAGE!!!
