This is for an early 1840 steamboat receipt / bill of lading for the Schooner "Splendid" on voyage from Philly to Hartford.
Great vignette of tall-masted ships at harbor.  Sold by Uriah Hunt #19 N. Third Street.  Sanders is the Ship Master.
