    Description

1840's and 50's New Orleans Gun Dealer (6) Bills of Lading. NR!!!
Armand Soubie was a gun dealer/maker/smith that operated in New Orleans until the Union forces invaded in April of 1862. He then went back to his native France. Pre-CW he equipped many a Confederate with rifles and sidearms and members of the Washington Artillery often visited his shop in the French Quarter. These bills of lading are for his supplies and "hardware". Condition is as seen in scans with some minor ink erosion in places. Notice a couple of nice vignettes and a revenue stamp on one.
