Up for auction is a vintage stampless cover with letter that was written at and mailed from Truno, Massachusetts and addressed to Thomas Croswell, Farmington Falls, Maine.  Cover has manuscript post mark and a manuscript Way 17 3/4 postal rate marking.  Letter is dated August 11, 1842 and was from James Small.  Lettersheet is legal size, so entire paper is not seen in scan.
Paper has second sheet tears and staining issues..
