Description
Here is an ORIGINAL Report showing the "PAYROLL OF OFFICERS & APPOINTEES" in the COURT OF COMMON PLEAS" in New York City that is dated "MAY 1863". The payroll for these 17 working men is 08.25 ( see image # 7 for that detail ). Deputy Clerk makes an "AMAZING" 5 per month.Images are larger than my scanner, so please forgive me for the "divided" photos.
SEVENTEEN employees are listed here ( with their Signature ). More research is need here but, YES, this document is BEAUTIFUL with it's age of 158 years old. The MIDDLE "folding" of this document has finally separated but maybe with your framing it can still look beautiful. Size is 14 by 17 inches.
