    Signor Eugenio Contini was a native Italian, born in 1859, and resided in the city of Rome.  In the early 1880’s, he became a Corporal in the Italian Military.  He was a member of the 24th Esino Regimento, or the 24th Regiment of Esino, which was an Italian municipal district.
    In 1888, he was granted residency of Paris, by the Department De La Seine.  Then in1895, he was granted United States Citizenship in New York.  There he opened his Plaster Moulder business.  In the same year of his immigration, he married a young woman named Amedea Greccio, as certified by Rufus Randall, Alderman of NYC.  Signor Contini pssed in 1921.
    Today we offer this vintage U.S. Passprt, that would have been connected with his life.  It measures about 12” x 17” overall.  The document is signed by Security of State, John Hay.
