This is for Your Choice of 1 of These Rare 1965 to 1967 Chevy II, (Chevy 2), Nova 283 cubic inch V-8 Bare Blocks with Main Caps, (GM Casting Number 3862194, GM Group Number 0.030), while Supply Lasts. This listing contains only casting number of our collection of over 4000 original Chevrolet V8 engine blocks of all sizes. These will all be sold as bare blocks to be rebuilt. They will be hot tanked, shot blasted, tumbled, cleaned, inspected and magnafuxed before shipping. This is a file photo, not the actual photo of the block you will receive, but they will basically look new when received. They are guaranteed rebuildable with the proper machining. NOTE: We do not have any of the 3790721 or 3791362 Nova 327 blocks available! Contact us before purchase to verify current inventory. These require shipping to a commercial shipping address by Truck Freight. This item can be picked up at our Corvette Parts and Service Center, Tracy Performance at 29069 Calahan Road in Roseville, Michigan 48066-1805, (just Northeast of Detroit), to save shipping costs.  We can also do the machine work and the assembly if desired.  The list of the blocks, casting dates are available as follows while supply lasts, but we suggest contacting us before purchase to verify current inventory:

HISTORY LESSON: These are all original 1965 to 1967 Model Year Chevy II, Chevy 2, Nova 283 engine blocks. For other earlier and later dated blocks with different casting numbers, please see our other listings.  They were used in passenger cars, trucks and Corvettes. They have a recessed oil filter cannister mounting boss on the LH lower part of the rear of the block, a Nova exclusive to clear the clutch linkage in those tight engine compartments and it still had a oil road draft breather tube location moved to the top of the block for the PCV system. These blocks had the engine mount bosses on the side of the block.  Our warehouse contains over 3000 small block Chevrolet V-8 blocks of all years and sizes, 24 W series 348 and 409 blocks and over 400 big blocks! Large Items:
Items that are too large, (oversize), or too heavy for UPS and USPS will usually be shipped by ground with
UPS Truck Freight, and require a commercial, (business), shipping address
. These truck freight shipments come in a large semi trailer, usually on a 4' X 4' pallet and will require a fork lift or dock. We can deliver and hold them at a UPS Truck Freight Terminal in a metro area close to you.

Local Detroit Pickup:

Returns:
Please contact us as soon as possible if you have any problems. Returns must be shipped back prepaid and require preapproval with our "Return Material Authorization" Number written on the outside of the package.
