    Description

Antique 1750-1800 Spanish Colonial Heavy Silver Large Mug or Cup
Presented is an antique, Spanish Colonial silver mug or handled cup made between 1750 and 1800. This late 18th century piece is very heavy weight and thick gauge silver, as one would expect on Spanish Colonial silver. This cup has no hallmarks, which is quite common for Spanish Colonial silver. It was probably made in Mexico or Guatemala.
The cup is guaranteed to be at least 900 purity silver.
This piece is in good condition considering its age. There is denting and some scratches throughout, as you can see in the photograph. The handle has most likely been re soldered. There is a split on either side of the handle at the top.
    Diameter: 3 3/4 inches.
    Height: 4 1/2 inches.
Weight: 349 grams or 12.3 ounces.
