Hand sewn throughout.
Estate sale find of a woman who was 100. She spent a lot of time in Japan as her family originated from there. She had a fine collection of antique kimonos all of which I rescued and are listed this week for your consideration.
TRUE ANTIQUE
AGE
Estimated to be 1940s - 1950s per the family. Exact age left to discretion of Buyer at time of bid and purchase.
MATERIAL
Appears to be a fine cotton or silk broadcloth throughout. It is a special weave Japanese fabric and construction. Fully lined. Hand stitched throughout. See close up photo for detail of fabric weave.

Few spots noted to right interior lining. Exterior in excellent condition. No rips to fabric. Basting type stitches noted near edges of exterior which appear to all be intended / deliberate. Overall very good wearable condition. Special dry cleaning recommended for future preservation if desired to be worn.
