    Description

Mir was a space station that operated in low earth orbit from 1986 to 2001, operated by the Soviet Union and later by Russia.  Mir was the first modular space station and was assembled in orbit from 1986 to 1996.  It had a greater mass than any previous spacecraft.
This certificate which includes the actual MIR Flag flown aboard the MIR Soviet spacecraft was presented to me for my participation in this
historic event.  I am offering it for sale for the first time.  It is in mint condition and one of a kind. The overall certificate measures 11" x 14".
Also included with this sale is a copy of a photograph taken of Eugene Kranz and Bernard Levy during the 50th anniversary celebration
of the Apollo 11 moon landing at
Space Center Houston .  Gene Kranz was the flight director for that mission.
