Leotard Shoulder to crotch measures:
Petite Adult = 23 1/2 inches.
Medium Adult = 25 inches.
XL Adult = 27 inches.
Shorts:
Petite Adult Waist = 11 1/2 inches across,
Front of shorts = 8 1/2 inches long, back = 10 1/4, inseam = 1 1/2.
Shorts:
Medium Adult Waist = 12 inches across,
Front of shorts = 9 1/4 inches long, back = 11, inseam = 1 1/2.
Shorts:
Large Adult Waist = 13 1/2 inches across,
Front of shorts = 9 1/2 inches long, back = 11 1/2, inseam = 1 1/2.
Fitting tip:  Find a similar item that fits well and compare measurements to those above OR measure from shoulder through crotch and back to shoulder and divide by 2.  Shoulder to crotch is the most important measurement.  Dance wear often sizes differently (Usually smaller) than regular clothes.  Please check measurements!
