POSTCARD FROM ASTRONAUT JAMES IRWIN, eighth person to walk on the Moon.
Irwin (1930-1991) sent this postcard with a religiously-themed inscription (see photos).

Irwin was the lunar module pilot for Apollo 15, which landed on the moon in the summer of 1971. Dated Dec. 13, 1974. (The postcard looks older because it’s a commemorative issue for the 100th anniversary of the first postal card)
