Howdy! This auction is for a Set TWO (2) Silver Dollar sized Parking / Transit tokens, issued by the Old San Juan Chamber of Commerce, in an effort to promote buying local, used in the early 1980s, It consisted on rewarding local customers who purchased about or so in goods or services this token, so they could park for free next time. Its obverse reads (translated) OLD SAN JUAN MERCHANTS ASSOCIATION. Its reverse reads: OLD SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO'S MOST VALUABLE ASSET AFTER ITS PEOPLE. It is made of Silver & Golden color anodized metal
. Condition is almost uncirculated to fully uncirculated. Each measures 38.5mm, just like a MORGAN/PEACE Silver Dollar. Please check my other auctions on Ebay, I have plenty of other Puerto Rican and American tokens in stock.
