MEIJI PERIOD (1869-1912)
GOLDEN DRAGON TEXTILE!
EXQUISITE EMBROIDERY!
FRAMED BEHIND GLASS
( DIMENSIONS 19" x 19" )
A very fine "blue-ground" embroidered silk Golden Dragon textile from
the Meiji Period (1869-1912). Brocade embroidery gives life
to the wonderful details of this legendary "Golden Dragon!"
The Golden Dragon is a powerful symbol. It brings wealth, wisdom
and compassion to those who are worthy. It is the most revered
of the dragons and has been associated with Imperial Royalty and
the upper classes.
For those who practice Feng Shui this silk Golden Dragon on Purple-Blue
(water color) strengthens the energies of wealth, prosperity and
power. Being framed in metal, which nourishes water, gives
the dragon maximum energy flow.
As a guideline, always place a dragon in an open space with good
Chi flow. Dragons must have freedom and room to fly and move about.
Face the dragon pointing the room. In an office, place it behind
your desk where its energy will aid you in your endeavors.
