USGI US Military 1 Quart Water Canteen w/ Nylon Carry Case & D Cap

Description

This is a genuine U.S.G.I. 1 quart canteen with insulated nylon case. This canteen can be worn on any belt with the 2 metal attaching alice clips on the back of the case. The canteen is hardened plastic and comes with the screw on green cap pictured, type D. Canteen dates vary from 1973-2007. The nylon case has insulated lining, 2 brass snap closures, and a small front pocket with velcro closure. This U.S.G.I. 1 quart canteen, case, cap, and collar are in very good to excellent condition.
The type D cap pictured has been in service with the U.S. Military for almsot 30 years
. The top of the cap has
a drinking vent which was designed to be used while wearing a gas mask or special breathing device. The flip top cap remains closed during normal use.
