This mirrored gold compact with a croc pattern design, is a design from one of the earliest Estée Lauder powder compact designs that wasn’t limited, but kept in the collection for a long time. This design originally came with a pressed powder or a loose powder with a screen.
For the 20th anniversary in 1987, there was a similar compact and ad that paid tribute to the original. This is from the second launch. It was available in 24k gold for 0 with 20% of the proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation through June 2016.
