Vintage Sony D-5 CD Player with Custom carry box

Description

This unit is the original Sony D5 compact portable disc player.  Extremely popular in it's day as it was the first "portable" player on the market.  Mind-blowing at the time!  :-D. Excellent sound with line output miniature phone jack on the back and a miniature phone jack headphone output on the side.  The custom made wooden box not only stores the unit and power supply, but also a dozen of your favorite CD's as well. Storage space below the unit is big enough to keep your power supply and earbuds or small headset. There is a hole on the back side and a hole on the right side for the purpose of using the unit while the lid is closed.  Power supply out the back and headphones out the side.  A little TLC required on the wooden box to make it look great again.  CD's NOT included.
