Vintage ZAPOTEC Mexico Wool Blanket PONCHO w/ Horseshoes

Description

This poncho was made using a rather thick wool blanket or rug; the head opening is a slit 10" long, with binding on the edges.
The poncho, when extended on a surface, as in pic # 9, meaures 64" by 35" across; the 64" length does not include the fringes.
It would be used as a poncho or as a decorative throw, in our opinion.
Please notice that, although it was used, gently it seems, by previous owners, they did not remove the small store tag that still hangs in it: see close-ups # 7 and 8. We don't know if the figure, $ 150.00, is US dollars or Mexican pesos (before the devaluation of the peso).
This is a vintage poncho, but we can't tell how vintage.
